Complimentary Coffee, Snacks and DriveMark App to Help You Stay Safe<\/em><\/p>\n

Kuala Lumpur, 11 June 2018 \u2013 The PETRONAS Coffee Break campaign returns once again in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya celebration, to encourage motorists to take regular breaks and refresh themselves before continuing on their balik kampung journey.<\/p>\n

For the pre and post Raya journey, on 12, 13, 23 and 24 June 2018, motorists who stop by at any of the 150 participating PETRONAS stations will be treated to complimentary coffee and snacks to help them stay fresh and alert on the road.<\/p>\n

To further encourage safe driving, PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB) is introducing the #CoffeeBreak Challenge via Katsana\u2019s DriveMark mobile application, where users with exemplary driving behaviours will stand a chance to win up to RM300 worth of Mesra points. DriveMark is an on-road safety app, which keeps track of one\u2019s driving behavior where safe driving actions contribute to higher score and vice-versa.<\/p>\n

PDB\u2019s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dato\u2019 Sri Syed Zainal Abidin said, \u201cRoad safety is one of our highest priorities and through this campaign, we would like to encourage customers to have breaks in between their long journey to ensure they remain alert and travel safe. It is our wish that all travelers will reach their destinations safely to celebrate the festivities with their loved ones,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The Coffee Break campaign is one of PDB\u2019s flagship road safety campaign which aims to remind motorists to stay safe on the road especially during festive seasons, which typically record higher volume of road travelers.<\/p>\n

In addition to Nescafe coffee giveaways, motorists will get to also enjoy other complimentary offerings from the campaign\u2019s partners including Julie\u2019s Butter Crackers, Miaow Miaow\u2019s crackers, various snacks by Desa Southern Agency Sdn Bhd, Munchworld\u2019s 7Days croissant, Hudson\u2019s and Himalaya Sports candies, IKA\u2019s fish snacks as well as vouchers from Lazada and Dunkin\u2019 Donuts.<\/p>\n

During the Coffee Break campaign, the Road Safety Department will also carry out advocacy programme to educate the public on road safety tips.<\/p>\n

To further reinforce the safety message, PROTON and PERODUA car owners will also receive complimentary vehicle inspection to ensure their cars are in tip top condition for long distance drive. Additionally, there will also be free individual health checks by St John Ambulance Malaysia. All these will be held at selected PETRONAS stations.<\/p>\n

For those who want to stock up on beverages to stay alert, hydrated, and prevent from dozing off behind the wheel, Kedai Mesra also offers a beverage combo comprising a can of Nescafe and a bottle of mineral water at only RM3.50.<\/p>\n
