How do I start scoring my trip?
DriveMark detects all trips automatically. You will receive the trip score when the trip ends.
Do I need to keep the app opened for it to work?
No. You don’t have to open the app every time you drive, it runs automatically.
You only need to make sure all appropriate permissions are Allowed.
To check the permissions, go to Profile > Profile Menu > App Diagnostic > Missing Trips.
Make sure all items in the list are Ticked.
Does DriveMark track my location all the time?
DriveMark only runs when you are driving. When you are stationary, the app goes idle to preserve the phone battery life.
How do I stop DriveMark from scoring my trips?
A ‘Scoring’’ toggle is available on the app dashboard to temporarily pause DriveMark.
Where should I go if I need help with my DriveMark app and/or account?
You are able to send enquiries or support tickets in the app. Go to Profile > Profile Menu > Send Feedback to get help.
What is the minimum requirement for DriveMark?
DriveMark functions best with latest versions of Android and iOS.
Android: Android 10 and above
iOS: iOS 12 and above
Does DriveMark use heavy Internet quota?
No. The app only uses data to upload driving records to the server.
A driver that commutes around 200km a day uses only roughly 3MB a month of data. As a point of reference, 3MB is typically the file size of a single photo.
Will DriveMark drain my battery?
DriveMark only access the GPS when it detects you are driving and idles when it no longer detects driving.
On average, DriveMark uses less than 3% of battery power, so much less than other GPS-related apps thanks to our continuous optimisations to improve battery usage.
How do I delete certain trips?
Currently the app records all trips. You can however mark a trip as a Driver or a Passenger (DriveMark version 2.7 and above).
How do I temporarily pause DriveMark for recording when I am a passenger?
A ‘Scoring’’ toggle is available on the app dashboard to temporarily pause DriveMark.
Does DriveMark works in low power mode?
DriveMark does not work while on low power or any battery optimization mode for Android. For iOS however, DriveMark will continue to work.
